Distance sucks. Especially when the people you want to speak with aren’t on Facebook or Skype, like grandma. After moving to Denmark, I started developing an application that is basically a simplified social network, designed with the elderly in mind or anyone who isn’t comfortable with technology.
It allows having access to the photos and making/receiving calls — it’s reduced to the basic functions of a social, familiar network.
Hopefully, this will make the distance smaller.
